Taxes, allergies, spring cleaning…who’s ready for April to be over already?!? It’s a relatively quiet TV week, so if you are still in the midst of spring cleaning, there’s not much to distract you. (Feel free to still procrastinate, though…I personally think window washing is overrated.)
Reign returns and moves to a new night, Mondays at 8/7c, along with the Revolutionary War drama, Turn: Washington’s Spies, on AMC at 10/9c. Limitless has its season finale Tuesday night, and Showtime’s Penny Dreadful returns for season 3 on Sunday at 10/9c.
May is right around the corner, which means it’s almost time for those summer blockbusters! Can’t you just feel the sunshine and the pool? It’ll be here before you know it, so here are a few movie trailers to get you in the mood. Grab a frosty beverage and pretend you’re already on vacation…work can wait!
Yes, yes, I’m as excited about Chris Evans as the next gal, but you already know about Captain America: Civil War. Other fun stuff to get you through Memorial Day: Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, X-Men:Apocalypse, Money Monster, and The Nice Guys. Some Ryan Gosling for your viewing pleasure:
June brings the much-anticipated Finding Nemo sequel, Finding Dory, the dynamic-duo of Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart in Central Intelligence, and the magician sequel, Now You See Me 2. The film I’m most looking forward to, though, is Me Before You, based on the heartbreaking novel. I’m fully prepared to cry my eyes out.
Mid-summer heat = the ladies of Ghostbusters, the return of Jason Bourne, the Trekkies of Star Trek Beyond, the antics of Bad Moms, and the loincloth of Alexander Skarsgard in The Legend of Tarzan.
If you’re ready for a few remakes, you’re in luck with Pete’s Dragon and Ben-Hur, but this month is all about the Suicide Squad for me.
Summer can’t get here fast enough!
