Upfronts – pt.4

Not much changed over at the CW, and I’m okay with that.  Supergirl definitely feels like a better fit for The CW, so I understand moving it from CBS for its second season. Aside from that major move, there’s only three new shows, since pretty much every show from the current season was renewed for next year.  Take a look…

No Tomorrow

This is just quirky enough for me–I’m all in. Also, it’s a requirement that all men on The CW be this dreamy.

Frequency

Clearly changing time/time travel is a big theme this year–almost every channel has some version of this kind of show for next season. This is a gender-flip remake of the film with Dennis Quaid & Jim Caviezel, so the audience may already be familiar with this set-up.

Riverdale

There isn’t a trailer for this midseason show yet, but it will be a live-action version of the Archie comic, with possibly some supernatural elements, according to the synopsis going around on Twitter. The CW knows how to handle the supernatural, so this sounds like it could be fun.

That’s all for this week, folks!
